Ileana Eugenia Dascalu PT, MCSP

Ileana graduated from the University of Craiova, Romania in 2014 with a bachelors degree in Kinesiotherapy and Special Movements. Beginning her career in healthcare as a care assistant, she went on to gain experience in a range of different settings.   

In 2021, Ileana began her journey within physiotherapy, which has brought her to her current varied role as a self employed physiotherapist at ID Physio where she delivers community rehabilitation services to elderly patients, implements falls prevention rehabilitation programs, and much more.   

Due to her experience working with elderly citizens who struggled with balance and falls, Ileana began extensively reading and researching around the causes of these problems, leading her to vestibular physiotherapy. She gained expertise in vestibular rehabilitation by attending the DizzyCare Clinics Enhanced Vestibular Rehabilitation Theory course in 2022 and has built up plenty of experience in testing simple and complex vestibular problems.
